The week so far
This week has been very hectic and busy. I got a preview of what my life would be like if I worked full time. I had training in sacramento which is pretty fabulous considering I basically got paid to visit family. Nothing super exciting happened I was just glad to spend time with my grandmothers, Courtney, and my sister. Oh wait I lied something exciting did happen. After work yesterday I decided that I was going to go the Rack to use my Nordstrom gift card that Todd's mom got me for my birthday. While I was there I walked around aimlessly. I ventured over to the purses. I spotted some L.A.M.B. bags designed by Gwen and my heart skipped a beat. I looked at the price and my heart fell...$300 and something after the price slash is still to much for me to afford. My mission from that point was to look at the prices of all the LAMB purses. I was almost to the end of the purses when I found it. An orange bag that Todd and I saw when I was living in LA, I dragged him to Nordstroms frequently so I could drool over these bags that I knew I could never afford. So I opened the zipper and looked at the price tag...$189. That's still too much...then I saw the thing that made me that happiest girl in the world. A sticker that said 35% off lowest price. OMG. I got out my cell phone and did some math. I usually hate math but I made and exception for this. With the discount and my gift card the purse only ended up being $70. There was no question I had to get this purse. So I did. I am so freaking excited about it. I have wanted a LAMB bag for years...YEARS. I knew that it would take forever for me to finally get one but I was patient and it paid off. I am now the owner of my very own LAMB bag. LIFE IS GREAT

Christmas Cards
Todd was gone yesterday because he had to take the EIT in Sacramento. So I was left to entertain myself for the day. This is what came of it:

I have rediscovered my joy of crafts. Now I want to set up my desk in the office and have my own crafting area. What would be great is if someone would pay me for doing what I love. Who knows maybe in the future.

My Busy Life
Life has been so crazy lately mostly because I have started y new job. So far I have completed all my training and they are paying for me to go to Sacramento for three days. I am so excited to finally have a job that has medical insurance. On Monday we had a staff meeting and I volunteered to participate in a pumpkin carving contest. Because of this Todd and I ventured to Biggs to go to a pumpkin patch. After looking at almost every single pumpkin they had to offer we decided that we needed 3 pumpkins (2 for me in case I mess up one and one for Todd). As it turned out I did need the second pumpkin because I ended up getting frustrated and cut too much off a very key part of the pumpkin...so I had to start all over. I carved pumpkins from 3:30-11:30 yesterday with an hour break for dinner. But the end result is fantastic...I am very impressed with myself.

Just a Lazy Tuesday
The day has been pretty uneventful. Woke up watched the view, showered, and then went to Wamu to pick up shirts for my first day of work. They are a lot cuter than I expected. Then I came home and decided to put some much needed work in the fall decorations that I bought at Micheal's yesterday. I have been feeling like I need to decorate the house for fall.

Then when I was bored with that I decided that I wanted to bake cookies. Well we only have one stick of butter and I don't want to drive all the way to the store for something as silly as butter so I have spent the last 1/2 hour looking for oatmeal cookies recipes without butter. I have finally found one and am going to continue my adventure...
